About Insane Stays
Insane Stays is a vacation rental brand founded in Crystal Beach, Texas on the Bolivar Peninsula. We pick beach houses that go way beyond the basics — properties loaded with the kind of stuff that makes the house itself part of the vacation.
We built Insane Stays around a simple observation: most vacation rentals are just a place to sleep. The house itself is forgettable. We wanted the opposite — stays so packed with fun that guests never want to leave.

Every property is steps from the sand. No cars, no parking fees, no shuttle rides. Just walk to Crystal Beach.

Where we are
Our first property, Pickle Beach, is in Crystal Beach, Texas — a laid-back, uncrowded beach town on the Bolivar Peninsula. Crystal Beach is about 90 minutes from Houston and a free ferry ride from Galveston. It is one of the quieter, less crowded alternatives to Galveston on the Texas coast.
